Would your car pass the test?

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Melissa McKencie, 100th Mission Support Group, inspects the tint on her driver side window after it was tested for visible light transmission here Feb. 18, 2011. United Kingdom law requires windshields to have a minimum light transmission of 75 percent and front-side windows 70 percent. Suffolk Police are carrying out a 30-day amnesty all over Suffolk and are offering free VLT tests. However, if stopped after March 9, 2011, vehicle-owners will be prosecuted.
