Civil engineers prepare "300 area" for turnover

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Airmen from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron prepare to convoy back to base after working at the "300 area" in Beck Row Feb. 17, 2011. The area, which has been leased to the Air Force, is being handed back to the Ministry of Defence Feb. 22, and the 100th CES made the decision to perform the clean up using in-house resources, thus saving almost $9,000 in contracting fees.
