Civil engineers prepare "300 area" for turnover
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Senior Airman James Hanna and Tech. Sgt. Adam Parks, both 100th Civil Engineer Squadron, train on creating a safe perimeter for work party security at the "300 area" in Beck Row Feb. 17, 2011. The area is being handed back to the Ministry of Defence and 100th CES members performed a mass clean up, saving the base about $9,000 in contracting fees. They also used the opportunity to fulfil training requirements like convoy operations for Prime BEEF, or base engineer emergency force. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
