RAF MILDENHALL, England – Martin Plowman, a British driver who recently finished his third season in the Indy Lights Series, and is getting ready to compete in his first Indy 500 race this year, gives the thumbs-up as he takes over from Mario Andretti to give RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath personnel a ride in a two-seater IndyCar, which travelled at up to speeds of approximately 150 mph down part of the flightline here. Mr. Plowman was one of several drivers here Jan. 21, 2011, to visit troops and raise morale. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
