Tech. Sgt. Kevin Wallace, Regional Command-West Media Combat Team photographer, captures photos of Italian soldiers fending off insurgent attacks near Combat Outpost Victor, Badghis province, Afghanistan, Dec. 8. Just as the joint Italian-Afghan National Army convoy passed the bubble’s perimeter, they struck an improvised explosive device.
