Engineers entertain with blaze of glory
Senior Master Sgt. Opie Flax, 100th Operations Group, and the Fretwell Family from King's Lynn, Norfolk, descend stairs from a KC-135 Stratotanker static display during the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron open house Aug. 21, 2010. Sergeant Flax showed the family the KC-135 boom pod, then took them to the rear of the static display and explained how the refueling operations work, while pointing out specific Stratotanker components.
