In training for Firefighter Combat Challenge

Tech. Sgt. Adam Crowe, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, runs down to a marker before zig-zagging through cones and finally picking up a 175-pound mannequin, which he then drags backwards 100-feet across the finish line. Sergeant Crowe is one of a six-man team from RAF Mildenhall participating in this year's Firefighter Combat Challenge World Challenge XIX in November. The firefighters train on a variety of tasks, including running the stairs of the air traffic control tower with a hose pack on their shoulder, and knocking a 160-pound metal sled backwards 5 feet.
