Doing it in the dark
EVENES, Norway – Senior Airman Tara Skobel, 352nd Special Operations Group forward area refueling point team member, awaits the landing of a German NH-90 during Exercise Cold Response 10, an annual multinational training exercise. The team conducted several practice FARP missions during daylight, but actual FARP missions are done in total darkness. Airman Skobel was one of more than 200 352nd SOG members deployed to CR10.
