RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Staff Sgt. Michael Lauria, 321st Special Tactics Squadron, is the Team Mildenhall 2009 Airman of the Year. His achievements over the past year include flying on 34 missions with a joint task force and assisting in the capture of 30 high-value terrorists. He also rushed to a crashed helicopter to help move five Army crewmembers to safety. He also taught first aid skills to a local Boy Scouts of America troop. He is presented this award by retired Gen.
