RAF MILDENHALL, England -- An RC-135 Rivet Joint, launched from RAF Mildenhall, takes fuel from a 100th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 in the skies over England. Since 2002, the men and women of RAF Mildenhall continued to support the response of Sept. 11, 2001. The latest addition to the 100th Air Refueling Wing’s fleet of KC-135 Stratotankers stands in the hangar Oct. 21, 2015, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The “Square D” decal, together with RAF Mildenhall’s station patch and heritage emblem – showing nine stars designed to acknowledge and represent the original nine KC-135s stationed at RAF Mildenhall from May to September 1992 – was placed on the tail of a tanker reassigned from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., to the 100th Air Refueling Wing’s fleet.
