Rooms to Rubble
The contractor in charge of the demolition project for Building 402 estimates 2,000 tons of rubble will need to be removed from the base, Aug. 13, 2007. The materials are first sorted into piles such as scrap metal and concrete. However, the unsorted mess will be crushed and recycled and finally sold for future building construction.
