FOD checks reduced
As of May 23, foreign object damage checks have been removed at RAF Mildenhall unless vehicles or equipment, including personally-owned vehicles, have been driven off road. According to Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard 91-100, Chapter 6, para. 4.11, "When motor vehicles are operated on unpaved surfaces, rocks may become lodged between dual wheels and gravel may stick in the tire treads."
