24-hour vigil honors those missing in action
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- A display of combat boots represents military members who have been captured or lost in past wars or conflicts at a 24-hour vigil at the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action memorial here Sept. 17. The base hosted the vigil as part of the annual POW/MIA Week of remembrance week. Volunteers read the names of MIA members before standing guard in front of the memorial.
