RAF Mildenhall goes silent to remember Sept. 11 attacks
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Members of the 100th Communications Squadron lined up outside Building 586 as RAF Mildenhall held a moment of silence to remember the tragic events that shook the United States eight years ago. Starting at 1:45 p.m., taps was played over the loud voice system and military members and civilians stopped what they were doing to salute or place their hands over their hearts.
