Drivers receive safety check before dangerous weekend
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Col. Jeffery Bateman, 100th Mission Support Group commander, hands out Airman Against Drunk Driving information cards and ensures drivers and passengers are wearing seatbelts at Gate 1 before leaving base Sept. 4. This was the final weekend for the Air Force's 101 Critical Days of Summer campaign. Historically, there are several vehicle mishaps on this weekend, said Master Sgt. William Rathbun, 100th Air Refueling Wing safety office. This year, RAF Mildenhall had none. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Thomas Trower)
