John Craven, an archeologist for Suffolk County Council, lifts the remains of a human skeleton from the earth Wednesday, March 14, for further study at the company's home office. Roman descent between 1,900 and 2,000 years old. Mr. Craven has been working for Suffolk County for 14 years and has worked to preserve human remains on several occasions. (Air Force photo by: Tech.
