Ready to get your feet wet?

Capt. Shawn Timpson, a KC-135 pilot with the 351st Air Refueling Squadron, puts on a flotation device before beginning water-survival training June 8 at Lowestoft College in Lowestoft. Survival, evasion, resistance and escape instructors from RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath offer water-survival training to aircrew members once a month at the college. It is a refresher course during which aircrew members learn how to survive after a crash landing in water. The training is mandatory for all aircrew members once every two-to-three years.
