100th CES Airmen take on first demolition

Airman 1st Class Richard Moore, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron liquid fuels journeyman, shovels dirt from a plant box during a deconstruction project April 28, 2009, at RAF Mildenhall, England. Normally contracted out, this project only involved Airman from the 100th CES to remove plant boxes and repave the area to make it more appealing. According to Master Sgt. Joseph Lamberti, this move was to boost unity and morale while also saving the Air Force thousands of dollars in the process. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jerry Fleshman)
