100th CES Airmen take on first demolition
A shovel sits while Airmen from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron take a break, during the deconstruction of planter boxes at the roundabout near billeting April 28, 2009, at RAF Mildenhall, England. Normally engineering projects are contracted out to civilian companies, but for the first time RAF Mildenhall Airmen were solely responsible of the entire engineering project. The purpose was to remove the plants and planter boxes so the area can be repaved to make it more appealing. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jerry Fleshman)
