Remembering War
Military Working Dog War, 100th Security Forces Squadron, who passed away in May, was a narcotics detector dog and patrol dog. He amassed almost 9,000 work hours and more than 3,600 hours of search time. War's handlers, both past and present, and his kennel assistant, all said War's death has hit them hard. In the attached story, they share their memories of the canine they remember as extremely intelligent, handsome and always willing to please. (Courtesy photo)
