Annual Award Winners

Capt. Chris Saettel, 351st Air Refueling Squadron, demonstrates a pre-flight check in the cockpit of a KC-135 Stratotanker. Captain Saettel recently won the 100th Air Refueling Wing annual award for Company Grade Officer category. As aircraft commander, prior to performing pre-flight cockpit checks, he also studies a planning schedule, weather reports for the flight's destination, and a monthly bold-face test (on emergency procedures), as well as performing extra checks both internally and externally on the aircraft.
