Becoming American
After swearing the oath of allegiance to the United States, Kirsten Villamor, born of German decent, explains how her decision to become a naturalized U.S. citizen came from her heart and love of America, Feb. 13, 2009. Kirsten is only the second military spouse to become naturalized on British soil. Up until January, 2008, military spouses were required to be in the U.S. to say the oath and complete the naturalization process. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Tracy L. DeMarco)
