Safety Road Show
Airman 1st Class Brad Smith, right, 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs, takes a turn wearing the "drunk goggles" as part of a USAFE Safety Day demonstration. Both military and civilians were encouraged to wear the goggles (those pictured simulate a blood-alcohol content of approximately twice the legal limit) and drive the small motorized vehicles around the parking lot, to show the effect of being over the limit. Master Sgt. Brian Niemi, left, 100th Communications Squadron and Airmen Against Drunk Driving secretary, was one of the AADD members who rode alongside the "drivers" to ensure they were safe at all times.
