30 seconds could save a child's life
When helping parents to correctly install their child car seats, members from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department complete a thorough checklist. This contains details of the vehicle, including locations of air bags and seatbelts, and off the car seat. After receiving intense training, firefighters are helping parents ensure they have the correct car seat for their children's size, weight and age, as well as providing them the confidence to install it correctly themselves.
