Recognizing Excellence
Lt. Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, 3rd Air Force commander, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, coins Airman 1st Class David Landrum from the 352nd Maintenance Squadron, Jan. 9, 2008, at RAF Mildenhall, England. Airman Landrum was one of several Airmen General Breedlove coined for direct involvement towards the successful outcome of a rescue mission Dec. 10, 2008. The reason for Lt. Gen. Breedlove’s visit was to see the scope of RAF Mildenhall’s mission firsthand, while also meeting with Airmen across the base. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jerry Fleshman)
