RAFM Airmen train for upcoming exercise

Tech. Sgt. Derek Herd, 100th Communications Squadron, helps a fellow wingman, Airman 1st Class Ronald Greene, from the 100th Maintenance Squadron, with his boots during the ”Ability To Survive and Operate” (ATSO) Rodeo at the Main Fitness Center Dec. 5, 2008, at RAF Mildenhall, England. The purpose of the training was to prepare Airman participating in a Phase 1 and 2 exercise Dec. 8th-12th. Training consisted of hands on self aid buddy care, unexploded ordnance identification and procedures, pre- and post-attack actions, and operating a contamination control area.
