The front door to RAF Mildenhall

Michael Rolfe, 100th Force Support Squadron Gateway Inn janitor, dusts the hallways in the billeting area above Middleton Hall, and prepares to put special oil on the wood to give it a good shine. The Gateway Inn has 65 civilians (consisting of U.S. non-appropriated fund, local national direct hire, and Ministry of Defence civilians) and seven military staff working as guest services representatives and supervisors, reservations clerks, housekeeping, janitors, maintenance staff, linen staff and custodial workers, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the Gateway Inn.
