The front door to RAF Mildenhall

Paolo Sciascia, 100th Force Support Squadron Gateway Inn guest services representative, chats with customer Senior Airman John McKnight, 352nd Maintenance Squadron, who is new to RAF Mildenhall, Nov. 21. The front desk is manned 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. Active duty military, Department of Defense civilians and retirees are authorized to stay in any of the Air Force Inns worldwide. Official travelers and guests PCSing to and from RAF Mildenhall are considered priority one guests. Space-available bookings are priority two, according to Christian Peal, Gateway Inn manager, and guests may make their reservations up to 30 days in advance, depending on occupancy.
