Drivers Fuel Permit

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Airmen must obtain a Drivers Fuel Permit to replace the blue fuel card by Nov. 1 or be unable to purchase tax-free fuel. Pass and registration is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and those people seeking the DFP will need a current V5, USAFE driving permit, and blue fuel card. For vehicles that have never been registered on base, a current MOT or SVA certificate and valid insurance documents are also required. Only two vehicles are allowed per family, but motorcycles do not count against the limit. However, motorcyclists must have a current MSF safety certification as well a motorcycle endorsement on their U.S. drivers licenses. (U.S. Air Force graphic illustration by Gary Rogers)
