Lifeline to refuelers: 100th LRS proves NKAWTG

A flash tester in the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels laboratory dips an ignitor into a cup of fuel to test when vapors from the fuel ignite June 25, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Airmen from the fuels lab run numerous tests on fuel, pumped onto base from the local economy, to ensure it is clean and suitable for offloading onto aircraft. If any fuel fails the stringent tests run by the fuels lab Airmen, the fuel is not used until the problem has been fixed. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
