Same career field, different jobs: Oklahoma Air National Guardsmen visit AFN-UK

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Lance Daigle, second from left, American Forces Network-UK broadcast journalist from Eunice, La., shows Oklahoma Air National Guard Public Affairs Airmen from Altus Air Force Base, Okla., AFN-UK’s sound booth during a tour July 23, 2014, on RAF Feltwell, England. The Air National Guard doesn’t have AFN because AFN is strictly based overseas and, unless deployed or at a temporary duty assignment overseas, ANG Airmen are all stationed state-side. Therefore ANG broadcast journalists don’t have an opportunity to participate in radio broadcasting, aside from their technical training at the beginning of their careers.
