100th CES hosts GIS Day

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Erik Holloman, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron NCO in charge of geobase from Washington, D.C., teaches Lakenheath Middle School children about conventional and GPS surveying methods during a Geographic Information System Day May 21, 2014, on RAF Feltwell, England. The day gave children an opportunity to see how math and geography can help them measure points on the earth and can be used to make maps, navigation and beddown planning in a contingency environment.
