Tail receives ‘Square D’ stamp of approval
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Farmakis, 100th Maintenance Squadron NCO in charge of corrosion control from Las Vegas, shows off the finished “Square D” tail flash on a KC-135 Stratotanker April 24, 2014, in Hangar 814 on RAF Mildenhall, England. The old tail flashes are one giant decal; the newer ones are now a white “D” placed on top of a painted black square. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kelsey Waters/Released)
