100th AMXS keeps jets in sky

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jessica Tharp, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman from Lancaster, Ohio, inspects the exhaust section of a KC-135 Stratotanker March 4, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. When aerospace propulsion journeymen finish troubleshooting problems and have established what was wrong, they remove and replace the broken components with serviceable ones. After maintenance is complete they perform engine run tests to make sure the problem is fixed and the engine operates as it should. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
