Lavenham – Stepping back in time with crooked houses, cream teas

Little Hall, in Lavenham, Suffolk, is an example of medieval architecture and was formerly a wool merchant's house. Dating back to the time of William the Conqueror, Lavenham was once a renowned wool trade centre. Little Hall is now a museum and the house and garden are open to the public from April to October. The town is full of half-timbered, crooked houses and is a big tourist attraction. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
