100th LRS reduces carbon footprint
Newly assigned low-carbon, fuel-efficient diesel sedans are ready for use Dec. 6, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron have replaced 19 vehicles with a newer, more environmentally friendly fleet. To further reduce the squadron’s carbon footprint, they ensure transportation dispatch personnel provide the appropriate size bus to minimize the use of excess transportation.
