U.S. Air Force units combine to create 48th AEG in Iceland
Senior Airman Kyle Eisler, 493rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron crew chief, marshals an F-15C Eagle piloted by Lt. Col. Mark Sadler, 493rd EFS commander, Keflavik International Airport, Iceland, Nov. 4, 2013, to conduct air surveillance and policing missions. Airmen from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, Spangdahlem Air Base, Ramstein AB, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tinker AFB and Robins AFB arrived at Keflavik International Airport, Iceland, Oct. 28, 2013, to complete an air surveillance exercise in support of a bilateral agreement between the U.S. and Iceland.
