U.S. Air Force units combine to create 48th AEG in Iceland

Senior Airman Kyle Eisler, 493rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron crew chief, marshals an F-15C Eagle piloted by Lt. Col. Mark Sadler, 493rd EFS commander, Keflavik International Airport, Iceland, Nov. 4, 2013, to conduct air surveillance and policing missions.
