100th MXS sheet metal pumps iron
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Zack Sidlovsky, 100th Maintenance Squadron aircraft maintenance craftsman from Naples, Fla., drills out solid rivets from a C-130J leading edge to facilitate dent removal caused by a bird strike Oct. 25, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The 100th MXS aircraft maintenance shop personnel repair damage from an average of two to five bird strikes per year. The shop service members improved their stripping and painting processes, which saved the Air Force $114,000. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
