Dog, handler share unconditional bond
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Barret Chappelle, 100th Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog handler from Lafayette, La., and MWD Zulton practice bite training Oct. 10, 2013, at the K-9 kennels on RAF Mildenhall, England. Bite training is one of many tasks handlers need to complete on a monthly basis with their MWDs. Other monthly training includes basic obedience and detection capabilities. Chappelle and Zulton have also worked with the 321st Special Tactics Squadron here and the 56th Rescue Squadron from RAF Lakenheath on ground training and helicopter conditioning.
