100th ARW leadership recognizes Team Mildenhall members
U.S. Air Force Col. Kenneth T. Bibb Jr., right, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, congratulates David Lawrence, second from right, 100th Force Support Squadron lodging maintenance supervisor from San Jose, Calif.; Paul Jarred, second from left, 100th FSS lodging maintenance worker from Mundford, Norfolk, and Tod Shady, left, 352nd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron contract maintenance team site lead from Maquoketa, Iowa, Oct. 16, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Bibb recognized the men for their quick thinking, which potentially saved their coworker’s life. Shady had noticed a coworker hadn’t shown up for work and relayed his concern to the lodging staff. When there was no answer at the coworker’s door, these three gentlemen entered the premises to find the coworker unconscious and having suffered a major stoke. The coworker is now recovering thanks to their efforts to find and help him. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
