CFC bowl-a-thon kicks off campaign
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jacob Baumgartner, center, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels information manager from Menomonee Falls, Wisc., and other Team Mildenhall Airmen participate in the Combined Federal Campaign bowl-a-thon Sept. 16, 2013, at the bowling alley on RAF Mildenhall, England. This was the kick-off event for the CFC, which runs through Nov. 15. The CFC gives federal employees stationed overseas the opportunity to contribute to programs which will directly improve the experience of living abroad for themselves, their loved ones and colleagues. Gifts to "family support and youth programs" support single and deployed service members. They also help ease the transition for families and children making new lives in overseas military communities by funding programs, including those offering emergency assistance and supporting recreational activities. For more information, speak to a unit CFC representative or call 1st Lt. Raphael Watson, 488th Intelligence Squadron officer in charge of analysis and reporting and Team Mildenhall CFC community area project officer, at commercial at 01638-548408.
