Lifeline to refuelers: 100th LRS proves NKAWTG
Staff Sgt. Megan O’Neil, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels lab NCO in charge from Reading, Pa., pours fuel into a separatory funnel to test for fuel system icing inhibitor June 25, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Fuel is pumped onto RAF Mildenhall from the local community, and goes through many tests before being cleared to refuel aircraft. The FSII is one of three additives mixed with the fuel; it lowers the freezing point and inhibits microbial growth in free water within the fuel. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
