100th ARW Airmen swap shops

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Duane Gopie, 100th Maintenance Group Quality Assurance inspector from New York City, climbs into a KC-135 Stratotanker Aug. 27, 2014, for a return flight to RAF Mildenhall after a three-month deployment to Moron Air Base, Spain. Aircrew and mainteance Airmen assigned to the 100th ARW perform tail swaps reguarly, which refers to when tail numbers on aircraft paperwork are literally swapped and those Airmen who are deployed to Moron AB return home, helping promote higher morale and mission effectiveness.
