‘Bloody Hundredth’ members’ grave marker returned to Thorpe Abbotts
A grave marker memorializing two 100th Bombardment Group Airmen, U.S. Army Air Corps 1st Lt. Raymond Harney, a B-17 Flying Fortress pilot, and his bombardier U.S. Army Air Corps 2nd Lt. Warren French, rests on a table along with a certificate commemorating it Oct. 24, 2014, at Thorpe Abbotts near Diss, England. Base leadership traveled to Thorpe Abbotts to return the grave marker originally from Germany memorializing the two Airmen, as well as to discuss wing improvement strategies.
