SAPR Office hosts seminar to help Airmen step-up and step-in

U.S. Air Force Airmen act out a skit Feb. 9, 2016, in the base theater on RAF Mildenhall, England. The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office held a training seminar to inform Airmen around base about the new “#SaySomething: Bystander Intervention Initiative.” The campaign provides real-life scenarios of inappropriate behavior in public settings to provide opportunities for members of Team Mildenhall to step-up and step-in. The skits performed ranged from a minor disagreement in the wrong setting, to inappropriate behavior with sexual overtones, and are designed to encourage everyone to step in and stop the event when necessary.
