100th LRS Vehicle Operation yard maintains serviceability via resurfacing
Contracted construction workers spread hot tarmac over the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Operations yard Jan. 22, 2016, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The temperature of the asphalt starts out at 392 degrees Fahrenheit when leaving the manufacturing plant and has to be at a high temperature so it is malleable and can be easily moved around and smoothed out.
