Team Mildenhall flight medicine: Keeping aircrew fit to fly
A U.S. Air Force flight surgeon from the 488th Intelligence Squadron performs a blood pressure check on a U.S. Air Force Airman Oct. 21, 2015, at the 48th Aerospace Medicine Squadron Flight Medicine Clinic on RAF Mildenhall, England. Located on RAF Mildenhall, the medical technicians are assigned to RAF Lakenheath, but perform rotations at the nearby base. The flight surgeons are the squadron medical element attached to flying squadrons, and work in conjunction with independent duty medical technicians, providing medical support to aircrew.
