100th CES performs alignment on tanker, keeps mission on track

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Brandon Adams, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering flight journeyman, uses a survey controller with a geodimeter, to measure between selected points underneath a KC-135 Stratotanker Nov. 23, 2015, on RAF Mildenhall, England. A plumb bob was initially used to mark exact vertical points around the aircraft, before three sets of measurements were taken to get the average and compile data. The 100th CES Airmen performed an alignment check to search for any shift in alignment which could damage the aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
