352nd SOSS weather flight trains to ensure mission readiness
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Huck, center, 352nd Special Operations Group weather forecaster, uses a laser rangefinder to determine the height of base clouds Nov. 10, 2015 on RAF Mildenhall, England. The laser rangefinder can also be used to judge distances of certain landmarks around the airfield to judge visibility. The binocular-like equipment is used during manual observations because it can be utilized by a single observer and without the assistance of fixed equipment.
