An U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing from RAF Lakenheath, England, prepares to take fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 349th Air Mobility Wing from Beale Air Force Base, Calif., Dec. 2, 2016, over the Atlantic Ocean. Both the F-15D and F-15C models are equipped with a Production Eagle Package which enables them to carry 2,000 pounds of additional internal fuel and have a maximum takeoff weight of up to 68,000 pounds.
